What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated 17 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the website. Work we carry out for a client is governed by the agreement signed with that client, not by this page.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form and send us. There are two: the contact form and the consultation booking form.
- Your name, email address and message. These are required — without them we cannot reply.
- Your company and phone number, if you choose to give them. Both are optional.
- On the consultation form only: the service you are interested in, and the timeline you have in mind.
Four further things are stored with your message, none of which you type: which of the two forms it came from, the language you were reading the site in, the date and time it arrived, and whether someone has read it.
What we do not collect
On most websites this is a short list. On this one it is longer than the list above, and we would rather set it out plainly:
- No cookies. The public pages of this website do not set a single one. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking. There is no analytics product, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, and no third-party script of any kind.
- No third-party embeds. Our fonts are served from our own domain, the video on the homepage is our own file, and there is no embedded map, chat widget or social feed loading in the background.
- No IP address stored with your message, and no browser or device fingerprinting. See the next section for the exceptions.
Your IP address, and our server logs
Two honest exceptions to the line above.
Our server limits how many messages one internet connection can send in an hour, by counting them against your IP address in memory. That count is never written to the database and is lost when the server restarts.
Our server also writes ordinary technical logs. When a submission is discarded as automated spam, the log records the IP address it came from. When a genuine message is received, the log records the email address on it. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to deal with abuse. They are kept for a limited period, and they are never used to build a picture of who you are.
Why we use it
To read your message and reply to it, and to prepare for a consultation if you asked for one. That is the whole purpose.
Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) we rely on your consent, which you give by choosing to send the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us and asking us to delete what you sent.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.
Who can see it
- The people at Solvytix who handle enquiries. They sign in to the admin area of this website with their own account.
- The providers that host this website, its API and its database. They store it on our behalf, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for anything else.
Enquiries are read through the admin area of this website. If a copy reaches a Solvytix mailbox, it goes to our own staff and to nobody else. We do not pass your message to any other company.
How long we keep it
Your message stays in our database until we delete it. We delete enquiries once they are no longer needed for the conversation they started — a project we discussed, a quote we sent — rather than keeping them on the chance they are useful one day.
You can ask us to delete your message sooner, at any time, and we will.
Your rights
Under Law No. 151 of 2020 you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent
Email contact@solvytix.com and say which of these you want. There is no charge. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Centre.
Keeping it safe
Enquiries can only be read through the admin area of this website, which requires an individual account and password, and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
